About Us

Aerial HotShots Pty Ltd is an aviation company working in South East Queensland, North_Eastern New South Wales, and other areas on request.

The company has its own Air Operators Certificate (AOC 1-A0AIH-03) that authorises, aerial photography, aerial surveillance, aerial spotting, search and rescue and pipeline survey.

We are the complete Aerial Solution employing our own pilots, photographers and observers and utilise our own aircraft.

The company is owned and operated by Director and Chief Pilot John Hildebrand and employs some exceptional staff in the aviation and photography industries.

Licensed & Insured

All of our operations are licensed, insured and our employees are covered by work cover.

Aerial Photography is a commercial operation as defined by section 206 of the Civil Aviation Regulations 1988.

This means providers of aerial photography services MUST either have their own Air Operators Certificate (AOC) & Chief Pilot (like Aerial Hotshots) or hire a pilot/aircraft from an aviation company that is also authorised. This ensures the aviation company and pilot possess the skills required to perform operations safely and is designed to eliminate Rogue operators.

As we are appropriately licensed we can obtain appropriate insurance cover. Aerial Hotshots has Aerial & Ground Public liability insurance to the value of $20 million.

Do Not leave yourself open to civil litigation by commissioning an unlicensed or uninsured operator!!!

Ask operators to provide you with proof of appropriate licensing and insurance.
